Professional Development Certificate in Teacher Wellbeing

Course Overview

In this webinar, we explore what we understand by language teacher wellbeing and why it is so central to any successful education system. I will argue that the responsibility for wellbeing needs to be built into the design of systems and not left to teachers to cope with alone. In practical terms and against this critical backdrop, we will consider three main areas in depth: How to effectively manage our emotions, our relationships, and our time. We will conclude with a consideration of what advocacy for wellbeing can look like in our settings.
