My main research revolves around Second Language Acquisition (SLA) in the field of Applied Linguistics. I am particularly interested in investigations which involve second language (L2) learners’ challenges, processes, and solutions in their course of learning and/or acquisition towards achieving L2 or near native-like target proficiency. My secondary research areas are other issues pertaining to English Language Teaching (ELT) and Learning (ELL), as well as language testing and assessment with or without the incorporation of technology.
