Submission Guidelines

Spiritual Science in Human Evolution is an international, open-access, peer-reviewed journal, that especially brings the values of various cultures to the contribution of a humanistic lifestyle. The journal covers the broad areas of spirituality in (1) human behavior in social environments, (2) cultural developments, (3) the origins of human rights, and (4) the pluralistic development of society. Papers are welcomed on topics related to spiritual science in the development of communication, religious beliefs, lifestyles, family, society, citizenship, anthropology, etc. Authors are also encouraged to submit papers on new and emerging topics within the general discipline of spiritual science. Theoretical papers are welcomed, but there should be a clear and significant potential for practical applications of the theory. Case studies are particularly welcomed and encouraged.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. There are no article processing charges (APCs) for this journal. The open access statement is available from here.

Publication Ethics

Note that all submissions to this journal must be original work that has not been published or currently under review elsewhere. Manuscripts that have been published as pre-prints may be considered as being already published. All submissions are checked for plagiarism on submission by iThenticate. For information about the peer review process and publication ethics is available from here.

Regular Articles

Regular articles are expected to be 6000-8000 words in length (excluding references and appendixes) and are expected to include original research based on solid methodology and sufficient background research.

Short Articles

Short articles may include discussion on topics that may or may not be based on empirical data, but they must still include sufficient understanding of relevant research. These short articles may be between 3000-5000 words in length.

Book Reviews

Book Reviews should not exceed 1700 words, including references (with a maximum four references). Book reviewers need to ensure that there are no conflicts of interest between publisher/authors and reviewer. What we look for is critical reviews, not simply a report of the content of the book. Only half of the manuscript should cover the book’s content, and the rest needs to be devoted to the critical evaluation of the book compared to the available titles in the market.
