  • Proceedings of the International CALL Research Conference

The Proceedings of the International CALL Research Conference bring together scholarly contributions addressing current issues and developments in Computer-Assisted Language Learning (CALL). The International CALL Research Conferences promote CALL as a transdisciplinary field and contribute to the development and dissemination of CALL theory, while supporting the growth of the international CALL research community, particularly postgraduate and early-career researchers.

The conference welcomes interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary contributions drawing on perspectives from language education, pedagogy, technology, linguistics, psychology, and related fields. Each conference focuses on a specific theme selected by the Programme Committee. While the theme is typically specialized, it addresses a transversal issue that is relevant to CALL researchers and practitioners across diverse educational and cultural contexts.

The proceedings provide a scholarly record of research and discussion presented at the conference and reflect the conference's aims of inspiring language education in diverse contexts, building connections across cultures, and supporting colleagues working in challenging political and educational contexts.

The proceedings are published during the conference and made available to conference participants. Since 2022, the proceedings have been published as open-access publications, allowing the research presented at the conference to be accessed more widely by the international CALL community.
